Caleres Fashion Entrepreneur Competition" that is taking place on November 10th. This event is taking place in St. Louis and will showcase five St. Louis based designers who are competing in a Shark-Tank style competition to win $10,000! As someone who is studying fashion, I can't wait to see the designers presentations and their creations.

| There is something to be said for the creativity and talent that is created in the Midwest and it is definitely overlooked. When people here fashion they think New York or Los Angeles but there are many other cities across the country and across the world that are full of successful businesses and designers! I think it is equally as important to know what is happening in the big cities as well as locally in your own region or city. As I said earlier, the event is taking place on November 10th and is being held at the Majorette, which I have been looking at pictures of online and it looks so cool! This event is the perfect excuse for a little weekend getaway to explore a new area if you have never been to St. Louis or if you are from there support your city! |
