Reflecting on Life & Relaxing in Central Park | New York Photo Diary

Hey lovely reader! I can officially say that this is part 3 out of 4 for my "New York Photo Diary" posts. If you haven't seen the first two, "Chelsea, Cupcakes, and Challis" and "Gossip Girl, Gyros, & Great Food" go check them out after having a scroll through today's post! These pictures are from some of the last few days of the trip and include visiting the 9/11 Memorial, the Flatiron District, and Central Park.

On this day, we visited the 9/11 Memorial which was a very surreal experience. It definitely made me take a moment and reflect on how fortunate I am. While there and seeing all the names I couldn't help but think about how there were so many other people there visiting and how to me, I don't know any of the people listed but how someone who is standing right next to me may know that name that lies in front of them. My thoughts and prayers are forever with everyone who was affected on that day. We had also planned on going inside and seeing the museum but unfortunately they stop entrance to the museum at 6pm. So fair warning, even if you have bought your tickets in advance, they will not let anyone in past six. It was a shame that we didn't get to go in, but the memorial in itself was definitely a moment I will never forget.

Flatiron Building
The last day, we dedicated to Central Park which is huge! It is far more spread out than I imagined. This was one of my favorite days because the weather was gorgeous and we were able to just relax and explore the park, have some lunch, and really take it all in.

We had lunch at this adorably chic restaurant just off the Great Lawn called "Le Pain Quotidien". The food was delicious and so photogenic.

Felt so Americana eating my Bombpop in the middle of Central Park

Shout out to the dog walkers who were everywhere

Gorgeous rooftop view.

Have you been to Central Park? Have a favorite spot? Xx

Best Dressed Wedding Guest | Summer Weddings with Farfetch

Hi lovely reader! I hope the summer is treating you well so far. Now, Saturday's in the summer can entail many different things, a lazy day by the pool, a BBQ with friends and family, or for many a wedding to attend! Last weekend I attended a quaint little wedding and I know some people spend what seems like their whole summers traveling around and attending different ceremonies. But, who doesn't love an excuse to get dressed up, have some fun with hair and makeup, take fantastic pictures and dance the night away? Something that I know people struggle with, especially if they have multiple weddings to attend is splurging on an outfit that they are only going to wear for one day. Well, lucky for us, Farfetch has put together an edit full of outfits to wear whilst watching the big "I Do's". As I have mentioned before, I am a big fan of this site, and this edit that I am able to share with you, is all about being the best dressed guest at a wedding. Whether it's a "Black Tie Affair" or a "Countryside Soiree" they have created some fabulous looks. When I saw these outfits, I immediately thought about how versatile all the pieces included are. I know it sounds cliche, but these are things you can actually wear again. I am obsessed with the Aquazzura espadrilles in the "Life's a Beach" section and they would go perfect with a simple t-shirt dress or jeans and a blouse. The Gianvuto Rossi flats featured in the picture below and in the "Countryside Coupling" are also amazing, I love the bow detail on the ankle. They could be worn year round with pretty much anything, I'm thinking a LBD or a midi skirt! So have a look and get some inspiration!

Now that you've seen these lovely looks head on over the Farfetch to learn more!

Are you attending any weddings this summer? Which pieces are your favorite? Xx

Gossip Girl, Gyros, & Great Food | New York Photo Diary

Hello lovely reader! Today I wanted to share "Part 2" of my New York Photo Diary with you! It shows what I got up to starting around the second or third day and into the fourth day. By this point we felt as though we had somewhat mastered the subway system and were able to explore some new areas. If you haven't seen Part 1, "Chelsea, Cupcakes, and Challis", you can check it out here! Enjoy!

Grand Central Station

Gyro's in Bryant Park. I wish I had taken more pictures of this area. It was so picturesque with tables with umbrellas, places to play chess, and a gorgeous old carousel.

On this particular evening we went to a lovely Italian restaurant called Pietrasanta. All their pasta is homemade and it is located just outside of the Theater District which was where we were headed afterwards to see a show. It was delicious and it was evident that this pasta was fresh!
After dinner we headed over to the New Amsterdam Theater to see Aladdin. The theater was absolutely stunning and the show was fabulous! I would highly recommend it, the story is one that kids can recognize and understand but the jokes are actually more for the adults. They even add stuff relevant to today, I mean where else can you see Genie singing "Work" by Rihanna?

The Plaza Hotel
Eloise! Now some of you who have followed this blog for a while will now that I absolutely adore Eloise, the books, the movies, her attitude towards life, so getting to go to the Plaza and see this was pretty special for me.

Chelsea Market was one of my absolute favorite places and I would say it is a must visit. We went around lunch time and it was perfect to grab some fantastic Mexican food and ice cream for dessert. It was quite busy which I'm pretty sure it always is but the inside is just so cool and quirky.

Eleni's New York

LOS TACOS No. 1
Chicken Quesadillas, Chips, Guacamole, & Salsa = Well deserved after all the walking. This guacamole was some of the best I've had as well as the salsa. Again, everything tasted extremely fresh and the meat had great flavor.

Dessert Time at Chelsea Creamline

Strawberry Ice Cream

So that's Part 2! Have you been to any of these places? Are you craving all these foods just as much as I am now?? I'm not sure how many parts total there will be to this photo diary but it's looking like there will be at least 3 more, so keep an eye out for them! Xx
