Warehouse Frills

Hey lovely reader! Today I wanted to share a look with you centered on a purchase I made from Warehouse while living in London. I discovered this brand while having an exploring shopping day around Carnaby and Oxford Street, would highly recommend stopping in their store if you ever get the chance! Luckily they have a US website as well so be sure to have a look!

His & Hers Spring Style | Bonobos

Hi lovely reader! Today's post is all about spring fashion inspired by some of Bonobos favorite trending looks for menswear this season. I have worked with them in the past and find it fun as menswear is an area that I have been looking at more frequently and definitely enjoy. They reached out to me recently asking if I would like to put together some womenswear looks to coordinate with their springtime looks. Obviously I said yes and here we are! All of the men's pieces can be found on the Bonobos website and all the pieces from the looks I put together can be found on ASOS.

I really liked the simplicity and easiness that was in the Bonobos shot and so for the coordinating outfit I wanted to mimic that. I love all the different versions of button up shirts that we are seeing at the moment and gingham is also big this season so this shirt was the perfect combination. Paired with a skinny white denim jean this outfit can be dressed up or down depending on the shoes you choose to put with it, sneakers (which I love) or simple heels. Either way you both will be casual yet class and ready for spring.
With this Bonobos outfit I liked the vibe of casual with the jeans and sneakers, yet still nicer looking with the touch of the blazer. The time for a pop of color is this spring (groundbreaking I know) and this bright pink blazer gives just that, paired with a basic white tee and some distressed jeans you get the casual cool feel as in the menswear. Since the clothing is pretty simple it's the perfect opportunity to have some fun with shoes. Metallic footwear and slide on loafers are extremely popular at the moment and I thought the bee appliqués were a cute quirky touch.

A few more shots to inspire your own fashion or that of a lovely man you know.
What are your favorite spring trends at the moment? Xx

Keep It Simple | OOTD

Hi lovely readers! I hope you had a productive Monday on this August 1st. I definitely crossed some things off my list. For a while I have been wanting to put more into the fashion aspect of this blog because it is something that I love, am studying, and want to share. I've got no more excuses to not put up these posts so stay on the look out because they're coming (I promise they are coming). Today's look has been a go-to of mine for the summer. Anything that can be paired with sneakers, especially these Adidas, and I'm in. I love to put my hair up in a messy ponytail or half-up topknot with some neutral makeup and a pink or berry lip. I'm going to include links below to some different options similar to what I am wearing in a few different price ranges so be sure to check those out as well.

Dress: Exact, Similar Look (ASOS Just Female, ASOS)
Shoes: Exact
Lipstick: MAC (my current favorite pink), NYX (love this for a darker shade)

What has been your go to look this summer? Xx

Lashes & Lingerie Challenge | Adore Me

Hello lovely reader! As you may know from reading some of my "Fashion Posts" or looking at my OOTD's I am a firm believer that the clothes you choose to wear should make you feel good. Now I mean this both figuratively and literally, they should give you confidence but also be comfortable. I believe that this idea should also be carried through in what you choose to wear under your clothes as well. That's right, you know what I'm talking about. We all have had that day where your bra coordinates with your outfit, and even if your the only one who is aware of it, you can feel like you've got it together. So continuing with this idea, a couple of weeks ago, I found out about a new campaign the lingerie company Adore Me is running, which is putting together a few mood boards and pairing their lingerie with this season's trend of mix-and-match outfits. Naturally, I was thrilled to participate in what they are calling their "Lashes & Lingerie" Challenge. They too believe "that lingerie is the most intimate expression of your personal style and shouldn’t only be reserved for special occasions!" The two mood boards that you can see below, display Adore Me's pieces as well as outfits that can be found on one of my favorite clothing websites asos, under their "Co-ords" section.

This board features the Cindy Push Up by Adore Me. I wanted to play off the floral embroidery details of the bra and the feminine, delicate feel that they portray. I chose three looks from asos that also reflect this vibe. They are feminine yet still powerful.

The two bra's seen here are a part of the Contour collection. I was drawn to these bra's because I like how flattering the extended length of the bra can be. It also a a nod to vintage glamour so I wanted to choose pieces from asos that have a mod feel, especially accentuated by the addition of some fun sunnies.

Which mood board are you drawn to? Are you a fan of Adore Me? Be sure to check out adoreme.com! Xx

Online Shopping Haul

Hi lovely reader! I hope your Sunday is going swell! I've been doing a bit of online shopping so it's time for another haul.

I ordered these shoes online from a place called DSW. I've been looking for a pair of sandals like this after seeing the style all over blogs and tumblr. I found these and I couldn't be more pleased! They're so comfortable and I love the fact that they're black and white.

The only non online item, but I had to include them) I picked up this pair of earrings in a really cute vintage shop. As you can see, they're little gold metal triangles. Modern and delicate, love!

Continuing with the delicate jewelry, I absolutely adore this necklace. It's by Sydney Evan and says "believe" which can be applied to so many things in life. Inspirational and so so pretty.

Onto this fabulous bag! I ordered it from ASOS but it is by New Look. A backpack purse is something I've been on the lookout for because they're great for traveling and again on trend. They're probably better for your shoulders too, if your purse weighs as much as mine does. I chose this one because the price was unbeatable and I really liked the details, the zippered side pockets and the woven-esque top and sides. The quality is great too, I always worry when purchases faux leather bags online because you never really know what you're going to get.

This next item is a bit random but none the less I wanted to share it with you. It is a Fleece Blanket from the H&M home collection. It's super soft and I love the vintage touch.

Last but certainly not least...I got a MacBook Pro! Now I have never owned a Mac in my life so I am definitely learning (if you know any cool Mac shortcuts or tips please let me know in the comments). So far I am loving it though.

I hope you enjoyed this haul! If you have any questions or comments about these products please let me know. If you've done a recent haul feel free the link it as well, I'd love to read it! Xx

Acid Wash ASOS & HauteHippie | OOTD

Hi lovely reader! I'm trying to keep up these OOTD's because I think that sharing your style with people is a great way for others to learn about you. I've really been enjoying what I've been wearing this summer. That may sound odd to you or you may completely understand where I'm coming from. I don't care as much as I used to about if what I'm wearing is not what everyone else is wearing. I want to be individual and have the attitude that I'm going to be confident in what I'm in rather than just blending in. While I definitely haven't mastered the whole not caring thing and being 100% confident, I'm on my way!

"Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else"
   -Judy Garland

Today's OOTD features acid wash jeggings from ASOS, a black lace bralette by Frenchi, and a sleeveless cutout top by HauteHippie.

Little ASOS Haul

Hello lovely reader! I hope your March is going well so far! One thing that I love about blogs, YouTube, and social media in general is the fact that you can learn and be introduced to so many different things, places, and people. A perfect example of this for me is ASOS! I would have never known of ASOS had it not been for people talking about it on YouTube and various blogs. I heard about it a little over a year ago, made my first purchase a few weeks later and have been an advocate of it ever since. (Sounds like I'm campaigning) The thing that makes ASOS so great is that there's always free shipping. This eliminates the "Well it's cute but I'm going to end up paying an additional *insert shipping cost here*, and then what if it doesn't fit or isn't what I thought, then I have to ship it back, so nah I guess I won't get it." There is a bit of a risk involved seeing is they don't have acutal store locations, so you never know exactly what you are going to get but I think for the most part it's worth it. I have ordered various items from them such as a bag, an earring holder, dresses, and the stuff I will show you today. The majority of the purchases have been a success so I would definitely recommend it. Another thing is that if you sign up for their emails, there are always sales and even discounts off of sales! So now onto what I recently bought, one being a bracelet and the other a pair of jeggings.

The first thing that I got was this ASOS Yawn Bracelet. I saw it and thought it was adorable! It's cute, quirky, and simple. The quality is really nice and it fits my wrist. (I have quite small wrists, so this can be an issue)

The second thing that I purchased were these ASOS Jameson Low Rise Denim Jeggings, in the Jupiter Acid Wash. I was a bit nervous about these because I had never ordered any type of pants from them and they were low rise, which usually I prefer regular or high waisted pants. I tried them on when they came and was pleased with the fit. They are super soft and obviously stretchy. The waist isn't really that low and I plan on wearing them with longer shirts anyways.

Do you love ASOS? Also I am in no way affiliated with them, just sharing my opinion! Xx

Fashionable Hats for Fall

The fall is fast approaching and with that comes new fashion. Cozy sweaters, skinny jeans, and cute boots, but there are new accessories that come into the picture. Hats are what I'm going to focus on for this post. Cute bowler hats and bohemian fedoras are my personal favorites.

I am absolutely in love with the Catarzi hats from ASOS! They are stunning. I do realize that for some they are a bit expensive so the more affordable equivalent version is below the Catarzi hat. The ASOS brand also has some nice hats.
