Caleres Fashion Entrepreneur Competition | Saint Louis Fashion Week

Hey lovely readers! Happy November! Today's post is one that I am really excited to share with you all. This year I have been given the opportunity to be a Caleres FEC Infleuncer for the "Caleres Fashion Entrepreneur Competition" that is taking place on November 10th. This event is taking place in St. Louis and will showcase five St. Louis based designers who are competing in a Shark-Tank style competition to win $10,000! As someone who is studying fashion, I can't wait to see the designers presentations and their creations.

There is something to be said for the creativity and talent that is created in the Midwest and it is definitely overlooked. When people here fashion they think New York or Los Angeles but there are many other cities across the country and across the world that are full of successful businesses and designers! I think it is equally as important to know what is happening in the big cities as well as locally in your own region or city. As I said earlier, the event is taking place on November 10th and is being held at the Majorette, which I have been looking at pictures of online and it looks so cool! This event is the perfect excuse for a little weekend getaway to explore a new area if you have never been to St. Louis or if you are from there support your city!

I know I am looking forward to it and can't wait to see the designers. Another reason to check it out, tickets are just $10 beforehand and $15 the day of. You can purchase tickets online here.

LFW Street Style | Farfetch

Hi lovely reader! While I love New York Fashion Week just as much as the next fashion obsessor, I always get just as, if not more excited to see what London Fashion Week will have to offer, both on and off the runway. I have always been interested and admired the street styles of the everyday Londoners and Englishmen (& women) so when Fashion Week rolls around I can't wait to see how people will "up their game".

This year I saw some fantastic looks on various websites and social media! Then farfetch sent me a batch of LFW street style pics to comb through and choose some of my favorite snaps to share with you! Needless to say, I had a grand ole time looking at all the fabulous outfits. This shot above is my absolute favorite. I love how she paired this dramatic sparkly fringe with jean capris and then a coordinating pink heel.
Pink. Adidas, Originals.

Again, loving the mix of jeans and a statement coat. I could see her pulling this look off with some sneakers just as much as she is with these heels. (Sidenote: loved her on the X Factor, still love her now, if you haven't heard of her, Youtube Louisa Johnson and watch all of her X Factor performances....you will not regret it)

All about the customized jackets, denim, leather, embroider, printed, or "patched". I think these particular ones are great, definitely wanting them for me and my bestie. And again we see the cut of jeans and heels. Definitely a popular look this year!

I thought this was just a really nice dress and the coat is so chic. I started following "IntheFrow" on Bloglovin' this summer and Victoria posts some gorgeous photos and fashion!

Want this jacket for myself! Really like the purple leather sleeves paired with the gray and of course all the patches.

These pleated foiled skirts were absolutely everywhere during LFW! Tons of different colors and also variations of styling!

What were your favorite street style looks from LFW? Xx

Button-Up | OOTD

Hi lovely reader! It is prime-time for the fashion lovers of the world as New York Fashion week has come to a close and London Fashion week is about to kick off. I love this time of year and always find it so inspiring, knowing all the hours that these designers put in to bring their visions to life. I also find it exciting to see what new and innovate ways designers will present their shows! From "Tommy x Gigi"'s carnival extravaganza to Marchesa's classic show filled with models floating down the runway, I love love love it. So after seeing all this fashion I took some time to pull together an OOTD all about the little details.

I got this dress a few years back and I loved it as soon as I saw it. It's by Kate Spade Saturday which as you may know is no longer. It's made out of a cotton material so it's quite structured but still comfortable, similar to the feel of a men's dress shirt. I like that it has an element of fashion to it with the shape and details so I pair it with simple Steve Madden espadrilles. This dress and style is also a great transition piece for going from summer into the fall.

What shows from NYFW did you love? Who are you looking forward to seeing for LFW? Xx
