Christmastime Goals | Happy December

Hi lovely readers! The holiday season is officially here and I hope your first few days of December have been good. I have been quite busy lately as I'm sure many of you University students can relate to as well, with the semester wrapping up! Winter break cannot come soon enough as I am ready to relax and enjoy this lovely season. I am definitely one of those people who gets a great deal of satisfaction from making lists and then crossing things off, so when this time of year comes around and there are tons of things that I want to do, I sit down and write them all out. I love reading and hearing what other people are planning on doing to be festive and it usually inspires me to add to my own list. I thought it would be fun to share my "Christmastime Goals" with you all and I would love to hear what yours are too! I also plan to have some posts centered around these "events", so stay tuned!
Do we have any of the same goals? Any suggestions of other fun and festive things I should do?

Winter Clothes Haul | Blogmas

Hello lovely reader! I am so excited to be working on this post because it feels like I haven't made a legitimate one in FOREVER!! As you may know it is also the season for Blogmas!! (If you are new to the world of blogging, it is where you post, everyday up until Christmas) I took part in the festivities last year (check it out here) and loved it so I'm going to try my best to do the same this year. I'm obviously not off to a great start though seeing as it is the third of December but we will make it work! Christmas time is my favorite time of the year and so I will be as festive as possible for sure.
Today's post is a haul of the new clothes, shoes, and bags that I have accumulated over the past two to three months. Rather than say where everything is from I thought I would just talk about how I style the outfits. If you would like to know specifics of where I got things, feel free to ask in the comments!

This is one of my favorite newer clothing items! It's flowy and light and I love it:) I wear it with navy tights, cream ruffle socks, and my tans suede lace up shoes. (The shoes that I will reference throughout the post are ones that were in this "Winter Shoes" post from last year so feel free to reference)

As you will be able to tell, I am really into the maroon and berry shades for fall and winter. This sweater is super comfy and is more fitted at the top but then looser at the bottom. I pair it with skinny jeans and chestnut brown Chelsea boots.

This sweater is soo cozy!! As you can tell from the picture it is black and white striped, and the white stripes are textured. It is oversized so I love to wear it with skinny jeans and black suede fringe booties.

Another maroon sweater! This cardigan is longer and I usually wear it with a denim button up shirt, black skinny pants, and tan lace up shoes.

Another style I absolutely love for the winter are cowl neck sweaters! This one is a tan color and is longer in the back which I really like. Recently, I paired it with jeggings and the sneakers further in the post.

Simple yet necessary, jeggings.

My mom got me these shoes and I am obsessed! I wore them for the first time yesterday and they are so comfortable! Perfect for walking across campus!

Finally, this lovely bag that doubles as a backpack. I really like the shape of it and the versatility!

What winter fashion are you loving at the moment? Xx

What I Wear: Winter Shoes

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a lovely day. Today's post is all about shoes. I love shoes! So when a new season comes around I get excited to switch things up. Obviously it's currently winter so I thought I would share what shoes I am wearing for this season as well as who they are by or where they are from.

Little Winter Fashion Haul

Recently I bought a few things to refresh my winter wardrobe and thought I'd share them with you. I got a cute crew neck sweatshirt from Urban Outfitters . I had seen all the cute takes on Céline tshirts and sweatshirts a while ago, but had never purchased one. Then as I was looking through the sale rack I found this gem and had to get it! I love Céline Dion so this was a perfect fit for me:) I plan on wearing it with skinny jeans and sneakers or boots and maybe a chunky necklace.

I also bought a pair of cream frilly socks from Topshop along with a cream sleeveless top that has a little mock turtle neck (I may or may not have completely made that term up). I though the socks would be perfect for my ankle boots. (I'm thinking about doing a winter shoe post, would you like that?) I think the top will look nice with a pair of high waisted jeans or skinny black dress pants.

While I was out I also picked up a super cozy sweater that again I will wear with skinny jeans or black skinny pants.

I grabbed a pair of festive socks too:)

Hope you enjoyed that little haul! Have you bought any cute wintery clothes lately? I'm starting to really get excited for Christmas!!! Have a cozy day! Xx

Winter is nearly here!

You know it's nearly winter when everyone starts flaunting their fuzzy socks on Instagram, Youtubers start posting their cozy sweater filled hauls, and everything Christmas goes on sale in all the shops (ok so maybe that last one wasn't the best example seeing as some stores put their Christmas stuff out mid October) but anyway you get my point, winter is nearly upon us! It's almost impossible for me to grasp that November is nearly over.

I am even starting to feel behind due to the fact that I don't have all my Christmas gifts planned out and it's not even December yet! Kind of ridiculous? I think so! Think about it though 33 days until Christmas doesn't sound that bad, but how about less than 5 weeks until Christmas.....wait what?!? See, now you understand my slight panic (or maybe you don't). Christmas/winter is by far my favorite time of the year so I'm hoping to have many blog posts to share my joy with you! I'm thinking hauls, outfit ideas (maybe with myself actually in the pictures OoOoOo), some DIYS, present ideas, and pic of Christmassy wintery things that I see whilst out and about. So let's enjoy these last few days of fall and prepare ourselves to jump into winter with our cute hats and gloves on and our cheeks nice and rosy! Xx

It's only fair that I show you some of my cozy socks, lambs and cupcakes, what's not to love?

Winter Wardrobe Wishlist

Hello everyone! Now I know some of you may be reading the title of this post and thinking "Winter wardrobe wishlist?!? Fall just started and you already want to move onto winter??" No, no, that is not the case at all. I just like to plan ahead and many of these pieces can be worn during the fall too! So no, I am not trying to rush fall because I love this time of year!! So now that that's taken care of we can properly begin. H&M is by far my favorite place to shop and quite honestly the only place where I know I can ALWAYS find something. It's affordable and on trend. (Everything on the Wishlist is under $35) Their range of styles is one of my favorite things about them. You can find something super edgy or super girly or plain and simple. I have been really loving their stuff (sorry for lack of a more professional sounding word) lately, it keeps getting better and better. The items I chose are pretty simple because I'm trying to get things that are versatile and will go with a lot of different things. I haven't been the best at that in the past which leads to things hardly being worn because they only go with one other thing. So below I'll give a little description as to what they are, what I would pair it with, and a link:)

Starting on the left,
Jersey Leggings: Everyone needs a good pair of leggings. I like these because they have a bit of a sheen. I would put them with an oversized t-shirt, or a big chunky sweater. For shoes, a cute pair of boots or sneakers could dress them up or down.

2-pack gloves: I think it's nice to have a pair of gloves to keep in your coats pockets. These come in a
few different colors. The ones I chose are black and camel. The black pair has little studs on the front.

Flat boots: These boots are what I would call a mute brown with black soles and black elastic. They are nice because again they are simple and can go with many outfits. I would put them with skinny jeans in black or a dark wash and a nice sweater.

Knit hat: I love cute hats for when it gets cold out. This one is a cable knit in dark gray and has a faux fur bobble on the end.

Knitted tube scarf: Last year infinity scarves became my new favorite thing. I like wearing scarves over tops but could never get the "tie" ones to look how I wanted. Enter in the infinity scarf and all my problems were solved. This one is a cream color and could go with pretty much anything.

Knit hat: Another cute knit hat. This one is also darker and has studs all over it.
