Hi lovely reader! Happy Blogmas Day 5! Today's post is all about holiday commercials (or adverts). When christmastime rolls around, you can expect that some companies are going to roll out all the stops to make some heart warming, festive, and funny advertisements to catch viewer's eyes. I could be wrong, but I feel like here in America they're are not as big of a tradition as they are in the UK (at least from what I have seen, but I wish they were). However, thanks to the power of the internet, it's possible to see adverts from all over the world. So, I thought I would share four of my favorites with you lovely lot.
What is your favorite Christmas commercial that you've seen this year? Xx

Palm Trees & Warm Weather | Throwback Thursday
Hello lovely reader! I hope your Thursday is going well, being productive, tomorrow is Friday, so if not you have that to look forward too! About a month ago I took a nice break from classes and flew to a land of sunshine and palm trees. It was so nice being able to go to the beach, eat fresh seafood, and just be out in the sunshine. I took loads of pictures and wanted to share some with you. So imagine the calming sounds of the ocean and have a little scroll!

Busy Baking | Blogmas
Hi lovely reader! Today was quite a sweet day, filled with baking. Every year my mom and I like to bake Christmas cookies, and this year we are taking it to a whole other level. My family is hosting the annual Christmas party this year so we are making quite a variety of options! My mom made these adorable peanut butter reindeer cookies that are delicious!
I baked the "Tanya Burr Cookies"! I made them one other time and actually did a step by step post which you can view here. I really liked them and I love how they have candy bar bits in them!
What cookies do you make around the holiday season? Xx

My Top 6 Travel Tips
Hiya lovely reader! With it getting into the middle of the summer (how crazy is that, June's nearly halfway through) and people starting to take vacations or go on holiday I thought it would be fitting to share my "Top 6 Travel Tips".
1. Charge, Charge, Charge!
There is nothing worse than getting on the plane or in the car only to find that your iPod, tablet, phone, or laptop is about to die and you're going to have to ration the use of the technology of your choice for the next couple of hours. So what I do the night before is plug in everything! Then once it's charged, turn it off and pack it. One you'll know it's charged and two you won't forget it. (Unless you forget the bag that has everything in it, which I did once, not good)
2. A Facial Wipe can do wonders
Usually after a day of travel, I feel, simply put, gross! However, I have found that having some facial wipes and using them once or twice while in transit can make a "heck" of a difference. You'll feel refreshed and clean until your able to have a post-travel bath or shower.
3. Stay Hydrated
Drinking water while traveling is a big must! Obviously drinking water is good for you in general but make sure to especially while traveling. Now, taking a water bottle on a plane and drinking it is a bit easier because you can get up and use the restroom whenever. I understand that if your in the car this may not be the case but still drink water, just pace yourself a bit more. Your skin and body will thank you!
4. Make playlists relative to your situation
What would I do without earbuds and music while traveling? Absolutely no clue! They tune out your surroundings and allow you to be in your own fabulous world. I love to make playlists before I go on a trip. Now what do I mean about playlists that are "relative to your situation"? If you are going to be traveling early in the morning or late at night and want to try to sleep, make a playlist of songs that calm you and are mellow. If you are going on a road trip with your besties, throw a list of your favorite songs together. If you are going on a plane alone and are concerned about the flight, make a playlist of songs that are upbeat and get you pumped for your destination. For me personally, listening to music can make the time pass by a lot quicker!
5. If need be, be productive!
I know sometimes a day of travel can seem like a wasted day, so make use of your time! Plan out your blog posts, make lists of things that need listing, write down what you want to do when you get to your destination. Anything you can do while in the air or on the road is better than taking away from your relaxation time once you reach your destination.
6. If you're gonna dress cute, dress comfy cute
Airports are quickly becoming the place to see fashion. Celebrity "airport style" is everywhere! I personally like putting thought into what I wear to the airport. So, if you're going to partake, be smart about it! A massive heel really isn't necessary, rather a nice flat, cool sneaker or sandal will do. Having comfy bottoms on is a must! If your not comfortable sitting in an item of clothing for an extended period of time than it's probably best if you back that and choose something else. Especially with fashion right now, I think it's easier than ever to keep up your style and still be comfortable for the journey.
What travel tips do you find beneficial? Xx
