Festive iPhone Snapshots | Blogmas

Happy Christmas Eve lovely reader! I hope you are as excited for tomorrow as I am and that these next two days bring you "joy and happine-e-es" (if you didn't catch my reference). I take pictures with my iPhone all the time so I thought as a nice little homage to the past month I would share some Christmasy pics that I have collected in my camera roll.

(Clockwise) A little croissant and some water from Starbucks. (I don't drink coffee so there's that), Beautiful Christmas Lights, Festive Fox in my cousin's house, Sleigh Full of Ornaments or Baubles

Massive Christmas tree with ornaments the size of my head, Delicious lunch with my friend to begin the holiday break, Jolly little Santa stocking holder, Decorating the big Christmas Tree

The Cookie Buffet from our family Christmas party!

Of course Christmas wouldn't be complete with out some Mariah Carrey, Festive sweatshirt (actually what I'm wearing today!), My collection of holiday socks, Pretty pink tree on my desk.

What have you been taking pics of during the countdown to Christmas? Xx

Christmas Party OOTD | Blogmas

Hey lovely reader! Yesterday was our annual Christmas party with my Dad's side of the family. It was a great success and filled with laughter, food, and festivities. I wanted to share what I wore with you.

This top is by Topshop, but I got it last year at Nordstrom. It's an off-white cream color and is made from a textured knit fabric.

I also got these pants last year from TJ Maxx. I love them because they are high waisted and made from a thick, super stretchy material.

I got these classy little smoking flats from H&M

I ordered this gorgeous ear cuff from Nasty Gal. I love it and am totally into the ear cuff trend!

What are you wearing to your holiday parties? Xx

Busy Baking | Blogmas

Hi lovely reader! Today was quite a sweet day, filled with baking. Every year my mom and I like to bake Christmas cookies, and this year we are taking it to a whole other level. My family is hosting the annual Christmas party this year so we are making quite a variety of options! My mom made these adorable peanut butter reindeer cookies that are delicious!

I baked the "Tanya Burr Cookies"! I made them one other time and actually did a step by step post which you can view here. I really liked them and I love how they have candy bar bits in them!

What cookies do you make around the holiday season? Xx

Pamper Present Packing | Blogmas

Hi lovely reader! Can you believe that there's only eight days until Christmas?!? I could not be more excited, the past couple of days have been quite festive. I've been wrapping presents, decorating Christmas trees, hanging garland, and there's still more to be done!

I wanted to share a little gift idea with you today for someone who would enjoy pampering and a cozy night in. All of the items in the gift bag were purchased at TJ Maxx! I haven't really mentioned it before but I am a massive fan of TJ Maxx and probably go there at least once every 1-2 weeks to see what they've got. You can find some great brands in everything from shoes, to bags, to clothes, they have even home-ware. I personally always have a look through the shoes and clothes. (No, this post is not sponsored by them, just sharing, because sharing is caring)
First, I bought this Ralph Lauren Pajama Set. I really like these pjs because they're quite classic looking. They are also very soft and good quality.

Next a pair of super soft cozy socks. Perfect for lounging around in or sitting by the fire whilst sipping hot chocolate and watching a Christmas film.

Finally, a delicious smelling shampoo/shower gel/bubble bath from philosophy. Even though it isn't a Christmas scent, I think it's acceptable, it's pink and sweet!

Also, picked up this pretty bag from TJ Maxx to put all the gifts in.

More presents!

What gift ideas do you love? Xx

Simple Decoration DIY | Blogmas

Hello lovely reader! I hope you had a nice weekend! Today I wanted to share a simple DIY with you based on a picture I saw in a magazine.

You will need:
-a glass bowl
-fake snow
-small ornaments or sparkly bits

This DIY really is so simple, all you have to do is fill the bowl about 2/3 of the way with fake snow,

then place the sparkly bits to your liking,

and voila! A nice little table decoration!

I made two and place the excess sparkly baubles in a nice glass jar.

Do you have a favorite Christmas DIY?

Christmas Tag | Blogmas

Hey lovely readers! I hope your week is going well! For todays Blogmas post I decided to go with a good old fashioned "Christmas Tag". I originally saw this one on Jade's Lifestyle Blog. Enjoy!

1. What is your favorite Christmas film?
I have two, first Elf, because well it's Elf, and second "Eloise at Christmastime". I've loved it since I was little and still do! I also like The Santa Clause

2. Have you ever had a white Christmas?
Yes, I'm pretty sure I have multiple times. One year I know it started snowing on Christmas Eve, my family and I were all sat around opening gifts and we looked out the window to see massive snowflakes falling. Very cliche but so pretty!!!

3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?

I usually spend the holidays in my hometown. I love spending time with family and doing festive things like decorating and baking cookies.

4. What is your favorite Christmas song?

Hmmm, honestly can't pick one. I looooove Christmas music.

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

Not really anymore, we used to spend Christmas Eve with my dad's side so I would get to open ones from them but now we have a Christmas party the weekend before, so I get to open a couple early still.

6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Yes, but I have to sing the song in my head in order to do so. Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolph!

7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

Baking cookies, decorating the house and Christmas trees, spending time with family.

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake.

9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?

Gingerbread cookies! (only the soft kind though)

10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

Giving, I love wrapping presents in cute ways and watching people open them. I don't like all the attention on me when opening gifts (maybe some of you can relate), I prefer to watch others. I also like making gifts that I know will be personal to whomever I'm giving them to!

11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

For Christmas one year when I was probably 7 or 8, I got a massive easel! It had a whiteboard, a chalkboard, and then a huge roll of paper. I love/loved art so I was pretty excited!

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

LONDON, I want to walk around and see the shops and go to Winter Wonderland soooo badly! It looks so pretty and festive, I think it would be amazing and hopefully one day I will get to experience it.

13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I'm a pro! Well, maybe not a pro, but I am pretty good at it and the last few years I've tried to make them more unique!

14. Most memorable Holiday moment?

Probably last year when I was sick on Christmas Day:( Not fun at all!

15. What made you realize the truth about Santa?

This is a good question but to be honest I can't remember specifically. I know at some point I started recognizing my mom's handwriting on my notes from Santa after leaving cookies, so that probably made me start connecting the dots!

16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

Sometimes, they're usually pretty general though. Might make a post about them this year to hold myself more accountable!

17. What makes the holidays special for you?

Spending time with family and the thoughtfulness that goes into Christmas:)
