What I Got For My Birthday

Hello lovely reader! The other day I was trying to get my little space on the internet organized, sorting photos, deleting old notes, etc. and  discovered deep in the depths of my drafts a "What I Got For My Birthday" post from two years ago! I went through what I had and pretty much all of the items are still available and are products that I still use/like and if not I shared alternatives that are similar! What I Got for Christmas 2017

Hello lovely reader! Happy 2018! Definitely going to take some time to get used to writing that! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and New Years. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite gifts that I received for Christmas with you! I have done these posts in the past and always feel the need to say that this is in no way a "showing off" write up nor is it written with any intent to be flashy. What I Got For Christmas 2016 | Throwback

Hello lovely reader! Long time no activity, I know, but my next post will fully explain that! Anyway for today, I'm doing a throwback to some of my favorite things that I got for Christmas. I love having a post holiday scroll through blogs and youtube pages to see what people have received. I also always feel the need to say that this is not a showing off post or a sponsored post, just a sharing post, maybe give you a gift idea for a birthday coming up or something to treat yourself with!

I love organization so this Kate Spade makeup tote was the perfect gift and gave me a reason to reorganize my makeup. The removable pouch is perfect for makeup brushes or lipsticks and then the top has two zippers that I put my mascaras and blushes in. 

After reading #GirlBoss, I could not wait to get Nasty Galaxy and was so excited when I opened this! It's a really nice book, perfect for a fashionable coffee table. It is full of quotes, musical references, interior inspiration, life advice and of course fashion.

This was probably my most meaningful present that I received. The quote on this MantraBand is my motto for the year and I hope to continue use it in my life in general. I love simple jewelry and the rose gold is lovely.

I am somewhat behind the times with this one but I have been wanting to get a mobile charger for a while now especially for when I am traveling. I received this mophie charger and so far it seems to be working well. I have heard some horror stories about mobile chargers completely destroying people's phone batteries. I am happy to say I have not experienced!

I absolutely love musicals so when I heard NBC was doing Hairspray Live, which also happens to be one of my all time favorites, I was eager to see this version! Looking at the cast alone I had high expectations and I must say that for me those expectations were met! I absolutely loved it!! If anything, have a listen to the soundtrack, Jennifer Hudson is so unreal and "Come So Far" has been on repeat.

As someone who loves a good bit of organization in their life, a ban.do agenda was a gift that I was quite happy to receive. I first used one last year and loved the layout of them as well as all the cute graphics and stickers. It's nice to have a full month view as well as day to day, which has a lot of space, there's even a notes section at the beginning of each month, as well as random but necessary holidays to celebrate. 

The necessity of this item will make more sense in my next post! As a fan of monochrome and minimalism this passport holder pretty much fit me perfectly. I also love the detail that ban.do puts into all their pieces, even the little cards inside it, so cute.

Last but not least I was given this classy hat by the Goorin Bros. Again, perfect for my current situation! I was not familiar with this company but they have loads of different hats for men and women that are really not quality and not outrageously expensive!

ban.do fun-o-rama | Blogmas 2015

Hi lovely reader! Happy Blogmas Day 4! I hope you are enjoying these first few days of December. This weekend I am bound and determined to get all my Christmas shopping in order (because right now, I have lists on lists, and it's not ok). I don't know about you but when it comes to giving others gifts, I have to be super organized. I like to make a list of ideas, then do research, then add links to the list and prices of everything, and finally see where I can purchase said items. I love giving gifts and although sometimes it can be hard to come up with creative and new ideas, I find that it is totally worth it in the end to see the recipients reaction and appreciation for the amount of thought you put into things. Fruit, Fireworks, and a Follow | iPhone Snaps

Hi lovely reader, I hope you are having a sunny Sunday! It is absolutely pouring here, perfect day to get stuff done though. I apologize for the lack of posts, I have been out of town for about two weeks straight, but I do have some travel diaries coming your way soon! For today, I've scrolled through my Camera Roll in order to put together an ever classic iPhone Snaps post! So here's some insight into what I've been up to!

If I do say so myself, I believe that I was gifted with the ability to wrap presents. I know some people dread it but I love it!

One of my co-workers love everything retro and is expecting a baby, so I got her this cute little picture frame and put an adorable little photo I found online.

Pamper Present Packing | Blogmas

Hi lovely reader! Can you believe that there's only eight days until Christmas?!? I could not be more excited, the past couple of days have been quite festive. I've been wrapping presents, decorating Christmas trees, hanging garland, and there's still more to be done!

I wanted to share a little gift idea with you today for someone who would enjoy pampering and a cozy night in. All of the items in the gift bag were purchased at TJ Maxx! I haven't really mentioned it before but I am a massive fan of TJ Maxx and probably go there at least once every 1-2 weeks to see what they've got. You can find some great brands in everything from shoes, to bags, to clothes, they have even home-ware. I personally always have a look through the shoes and clothes. (No, this post is not sponsored by them, just sharing, because sharing is caring)

First, I bought this Ralph Lauren Pajama Set. I really like these pjs because they're quite classic looking. They are also very soft and good quality.

Next a pair of super soft cozy socks. Perfect for lounging around in or sitting by the fire whilst sipping hot chocolate and watching a Christmas film. 

Finally, a delicious smelling shampoo/shower gel/bubble bath from philosophy. Even though it isn't a Christmas scent, I think it's acceptable, it's pink and sweet!

Also, picked up this pretty bag from TJ Maxx to put all the gifts in.

An Odd Christmas: Blogmas

So my final blogmas post should have come yesterday, put yesterday definitely did not go as planned! Instead of waking up and opening presents and then going to have lunch with my family, I woke up at 12 am feeling awful and spent the whole rest of the day sleeping or watching random bits of things on tv. Ideal Christmas? I think not. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I did receive some lovely gifts though and wanted to share them with you, so just rewind and pretend today is the happy delightful day that yesterday should have been! I hope you had a nice Christmas or whatever you celebrate, and if you don't celebrate anything, hopefully yesterday was just a nice day for you! Also thank you to everybody who read my blogmas posts, it really means a lot to me, and I hope you will continue to follow the blog! Xx
