Street Art & Street Food | Camden Town

Hiya lovely reader! Today I wanted to share a really cool area in London with you that is full of culture, amazing street art, delicious street food, and some great vintage shopping. Camden Town is a located in northwest London and has a great history with punk culture in the 70s in the UK and was also home to Miss Amy Winehouse. Now unfortunately it is starting to somewhat commercialize (good for some, bad for others) but is still a great place to visit, especially if the weather is nicer. Camden Market has tons of great little shops and some fabulous food stalls.

One of my favorite things about this area though besides the market is all the street art, you can see so many different style and artists scattered throughout the area.

I would definitely recommend coming here hungry as there are going to be so many foods you will want to try from basically pots full of steaming mac and cheese to massive hotdogs, mexican food, and some decadent desserts.

Do you have any favorite spots or street art in the Camden area? Xx

All the Love for Leah Reena Goren & ban.do

Hello lovely reader! Today I wanted to share one of my current favorite collaborations with you! I am always looking for new artists to follow, so when I saw that ban.do had done a new collaboration with Leah Reena Goren I was intrigued! Had a click over to their website, saw the prints and was sold! The illustrations are featured on five different products which can all be seen here.

I purchased the "Sip Sip Tumbler" and I absolutely love it. The print features some fun, flirty, and sassy bits. It could also pass for a great little Valentine's Day gift.

The fabulous and talented creative mind behind these illustrations as I said earlier is Leah Reena Goren. She "is an illustrator and surface pattern designer living in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2012 with a BFA in Illustration. She has worked for clients including Anthropologie, Ban.do, Chronicle Books, The Land of Nod, Loeffler Randall, Penguin Random House, Vanity Fair, and Vogue."

Her website is filled with amazing pieces of art and other collaborations that she has done. I love the simplicity and distinct style of her work. Her pieces are recognizable and something that I will be on the lookout for! Also, her tumblr is amaze and filled with her work!!

Everything October | iPhone Snaps

Hiya lovely reader! How has your October been? Mine has been autumnally festive and extremely busy. The leaves have changed, the days and nights are cooler, and my apartment is decked out with pumpkins and purple lights. Pumpkin spice cookies sit atop the counter and cozying up with a blanket at night has become a regular occurrence. Fall is here!

First weekend of October = decoration shopping

Halloween snack cakes. My flatmate bought these and I hadn't had them in forever! Brought me back to grade school, where my best friend would have a snack cake for every single holiday. I was more of a "Cosmic Brownies" girl myself...

Omelette and toast on a Sunday morning.

Hard at work on some art. I'm going to do a post on this coming up, but any guesses to who it may be?

Soaking up the sun and nice weather before it gets too cold, also loving my new backpack

Taking part in a lovely event for "Breast Cancer Awareness Month"

All the candy corn. I'm actually not a fan of candy corn or pumpkins but my flatmates are and I like how they look so...

Felt very autumnal in my army green sweater, skinny jeans, and brown chelsea boots.

Cozy morning called for toast with peach jelly, quiche, and a movie.

What have you been doing this month? Anything autumnal? Xx

What I've Been Up To

Hey there lovely reader! How are you? This is a bit of a random post but I took a few pictures recently while doing various things and thought I'd throw them together in a little what I've been up to sort of post.

First, H&M. As you know or will be able to tell if you follow this blog, H&M is basically my favorite. I was in the shop recently and snatched up two gems on the sale rack. I also picked up the latest catalogue and had a nice read through it. I really do like their magazine, the quality of the material they put into it is so good. It's not just pictures of their clothes, they have articles about what's going on in the music and fashion world.

Next, I love art and always have. I've been drawing more lately so these are just a few snaps of some little pieces. I have completed a portrait of someone I find inspirational and I'm quite proud of it but I will share that soon in a separate post. (Can you guess who it may be of? Hint: she's in my "Style Icons" post, special mention if you get it right:))

Not the most in depth post, but I know I like to read other people's posts like this every now and then so I hope you liked it. What have you been up to? Xx
